BD Manager - Steel Erection & Structural Packages

Step into a Business Development Manager role with an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector targeting large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time hire at $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, including Midwest travel.

How you will contribute

• Pursue steel erection awards with general contractors and owners throughout the Midwest
• Craft and execute capture plans for structural packages on 5,000+ ton projects
• Maintain visibility into competitor bids, timing, and pipeline health
• Be the commercial voice of an AISC-certified Michigan erector with key accounts
• Travel Midwest sites and offices to advance live opportunities

Must-haves

• Hands-on BD or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Proven comfort securing large-tonnage Midwest awards
• Existing general contractor, fabricator, or owner relationships preferred
• Willingness to travel Midwest markets
• Strong communication skills and a closing-oriented approach
