Thomas Nissan of Joliet is actively hiring Business Development Representatives (BDC) to help support our rapidly growing sales department.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in customer service, call centers, appointment setting, collections, hospitality, retail sales, or any position that requires strong communication skills. Automotive experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right people.

Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound internet leads, phone calls, and customer inquiries
- Schedule appointments for the sales department
- Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle interests
- Confirm and manage daily appointments
- Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM
- Communicate professionally through phone, text, and email
- Help create an exceptional customer experience before the customer arrives at the dealership
Qualifications
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Call center, collections, retail, hospitality, or appointment-setting experience is a plus
- Automotive experience is a plus but not required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
