Care Professional – Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Join our team as a compassionate and attentive Care Professional providing non-medical assistance to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes! As a Dawson and Dawson Care Professional, you will play an important role in enhancing the quality of life of our clients by providing personalized care, companionship, and support with daily activities.

We are currently seeking a reliable, proactive, and engaging Care Professional for the following schedule:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Required Skills: Light housekeeping and meal preparation are a MUST. CNA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care and support to clients, including grooming, dressing, bathing, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), as needed.

• Engage with the client through meaningful conversation and companionship. The ideal candidate enjoys talking with clients and building a positive, trusting relationship.

• Be attentive to the client's needs and take a proactive approach to providing assistance throughout the shift.

• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

• Prepare meals according to the client's needs and preferences.

• Provide medication reminders according to prescribed schedules, as appropriate.

• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including care notes, ADLs, and incident documentation.

Qualifications:

• Compassionate, attentive, and dedicated to providing excellent client care.

• Enjoys engaging in conversation and providing companionship.

• Proactive in identifying and addressing the client's needs.

• Light housekeeping skills are a MUST.

• Meal preparation skills are a MUST.

• CNA certification is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the scheduled hours.

• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
