The Role

As an independent contractor, you will facilitate in-person communication between English-speaking professionals and Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals. While most assignments are on-site throughout Maine, occasional remote opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Fluency: Full professional proficiency in English and at least one other language.
• Compliance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check/drug screening.
• Availability: Primarily available for local, in-person travel within Maine.
• Medical Readiness: For healthcare assignments, you must provide immunization records (MMR, Varicella, COVID-19, TB, and Flu).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience is preferred, but we are happy to train the right bilingual candidates!
