Crosscut- Warming Hut No.4 is under construction with an anticipated grand opening in mid November 2026. We are a taphouse and coffee bar serving craft beer, wine, cider, seltzers, spirits and coffee.

We are building a team of associates who believe in working hard together and having fun.

Description of Position

The Tap House Beertender/Barista position requires knowledge of bar and draft operations, cleaning and hygiene, handling money, and responsible alcohol management. Coffee experience is a plus!

The ideal candidate for this position is a self-motivated and independent worker able to handle a high volume and fast paced work environment while presenting the highest quality service. You must have great social skills, the ability to multitask.

Other qualifications include politeness, strong work ethic, punctuality, reliability, attentiveness, and desire to work as a team player.

Minimum Qualifications: (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have the ability to work around alcohol without abusing it and be able to say no to VIPs.
  

• Experience in craft beer, bar or service industry.
  

• Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer styles and the craft brewing process.
  

• Must have engaging communication skills and get along well with others.
  

• Must be able to work long shifts and stand for long periods of time and must be able to lift and carry 45 lbs. and move 160 lbs.
  

• Ability to be calm, flexible, and provide exceptional customer service while working through high-volume situations.
  

• Demonstrated use of point of sale systems and credit card transactions. The position requires the safe and honest handling of money and keeping accurate tabs. Good math skills are required.
  

• Physically fit with no limiting medical conditions.
  

• Experience with draft systems and clean bar operations including glass washing and filling; sweeping and mopping floors; and straightening/cleaning tables/bar and other duties typical of Tap House operations.
  

• Safe Alcohol Service Training and Certification Requirements:
  

• • OLCC Server Permit
    

  • Cicerone Certified Beer Server Certification
    

Compensation and Benefits

This is an hourly position. Wage starts at minimum wage. Tips are allocated by labor hour.
