The YMCA of Central & Northern Westchester is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dependable individuals to join our Before & After School Child Care Programs in Mahopac, NY! As a charitable, nonprofit organization serving communities throughout Putnam and Westchester counties, the YMCA is dedicated to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Position Details

• Pay: Starting at $18 per hour

• Location: Mahopac, NY

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

• Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Engage children in games, crafts, enrichment activities, and play.

• Build positive relationships and serve as a role model.

• Support daily program activities alongside a collaborative team.

• Actively supervise children while following YMCA safety standards and NYS OCFS regulations.

• Help every child feel included, supported, and excited to return each day!

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 16 years old.

• Previous experience working with children under 13 preferred (babysitting, camp, coaching, volunteering, etc.).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Dependable, energetic, patient, and enthusiastic.

• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a safe, positive environment.
