About the Role:
Bridge Community Development Center Mississippi is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Personal Care Assistant to join their team in Greenville, MS. Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct personal care and behavioral support to individuals with developmental, intellectual, or behavioral needs
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the guidance of a supervising clinician or behavior specialist
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility
  • Monitor, document, and report behavioral changes, progress, and incidents accurately
  • Use positive reinforcement strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to encourage skill development
  • Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community activities, and programs daily
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support client goals
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; coursework in psychology, social work, or human services preferred
  • Prior experience working with individuals with behavioral, developmental, or intellectual disabilities preferred
  • Familiarity with behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and ABA principles is a plus
  • Strong communication, patience, and de-escalation skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Valid Mississippi driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
