Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for planning, organizing, and oversight of the day-to-day operations of all Behavior Treatment  
        and Psychological Testing functions for consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or 
        severe and persistent mental illnesses

·       Interprets and implements Medicaid requirements as well as all MDHHS Technical Requirement updates 
        and revisions

·       Serves as the Behavior Treatment Committee (BTC) Chairperson 

·       Performs Utilization Management reviews of Applied Behavioral Analysis service requests to assure 
        medical necessity is met

·       Maintains a caseload of consumers with Behavior Treatment Plans and monitors accordingly

·       Provides education and clinical guidance to consumers, families, provider agencies and clinicians on  
        Behavior Treatment best practices and guidelines

 

Qualifications:

·       Master’s degree in clinical psychology

·       Three or more years of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental 
        Disabilities or Severe and Persistent Mental Illness

·       Preferred candidates will have two or more years’ experience in a supervisory role

 

 Licensure/Certification:

·       State of Michigan as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
