Behavioral Assistant (BA) About Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides comprehensive therapeutic support services designed to address a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Our approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, and our team of highly trained professionals is dedicated to providing individualized care for every client. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support in the home and community to both youth and caregivers
- Implement treatment plans
- Deliver services as directed by the supervising therapist, including:
- Using evidence-based interventions and positive reinforcement
- Assist parents/guardians with treatment plan implementation
- Collect, track, and report progression or regression (including graphs when required)
- Submit accurate weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision
- Assist with caregiver/staff training under the guidance of a supervising therapist.
- Recognize, prevent, and intervene in crisis situations appropriately
- Participate in required training and maintain compliance with all agency policies

Qualifications: - Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in behavioral healthcare, preferably working with children with developmental/intellectual disabilities or mental illness
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.
