Pyramid Healthcare offers comprehensive behavioral healthcare defined by supportive environments that offer patients the strength they need to overcome life’s challenges.  We offer behavioral healthcare services – psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc. – that allow clients at all stages of recovery or rehabilitation to reclaim health and well-being.

Summary:
An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. This direct care position primarily involves interacting with and supervising clients in treatment. The role assists clinical and administrative teams in identifying and serving client needs.

3:00pm - 11:00pm - coverage as needed

11:00pm - 7:00am - coverage as needed 

Pay:

$16/hr before shift differentials

Shift Differentials:

 

7:00am - 3:00pm - 1st Shift differentials: (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00

3:00pm -11:00pm - 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50

11:00pm - 7:00am - 3rd Shift Differentials: (Monday - Sunday) $1.50

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the intake process for new clients entering the program.
  • Communicate with staff either verbally or through written communication logs.
  • Maintain detailed client logs.
  • Listen to clients regarding all areas of treatment and maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment.
  • Coordinate activities such as lectures, recreation, and meetings.
  • Conduct mandatory bed checks and complete bed-check sheets for shift reporting.
  • Attend shift change, team meetings, and company meetings.
  • Ensure client schedules are followed daily and assist with interventions.
  • Follow treatment plan objectives and monitor medication lines.
  • Transport clients to meetings and recreational activities.
  • Conduct searches of clients upon their return to the facility.
  • Monitor treatment for hygiene and medical needs.
  • Uphold therapeutic boundaries and staff code of ethics.
  • Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs and provide input.
  • Distribute client snacks as needed.
  • Train new staff on the unit, program, and milieu.
  • Assist with facility upkeep.
  • Help clients obtain a sponsor.
  • Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prefer experience in behavioral health or general healthcare.
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.

Technical Competencies:

  • Capable of role modeling to clients.
  • Helps maintain a strong clinical program.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff to meet client needs.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Complete required trainings and mandatory training hours.
  • Strong skills in drug, alcohol, and mental health treatment.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, DDAP, DHS, and CARF regulations.
