Staffing Boutique is partnering with a respected educational services client to hire Behavioral Support Aides and 1:1 Student Support for afterschool enrichment programs throughout Westchester County.

**This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want flexible part-time work while making a meaningful impact in students' lives.## Pay

$50 per 1.5-hour session## Schedule

• Weekday afternoons
• Typical hours between 2:45 PM and 4:30 PM
• Flexible assignments

Position Overview

Behavioral Support Aides provide one-on-one support to students participating in afterschool enrichment programs. The goal is to help students remain engaged, successful, and comfortable while participating in educational and recreational activities.Most students supported are elementary-aged children with behavioral, social-emotional, developmental, or special education needs, including students with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.## Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support for an assigned student
• Encourage participation in enrichment activities
• Support positive behavior and social interaction
• Assist students with transitions and classroom routines
• Utilize behavior management and de-escalation techniques when needed
• Work collaboratively with instructors and program staff
• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, dependable, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work independently within a school setting
• Reliable transportation
