What does Benefit Alternative mean? A Benefit Alternative role is a full time employment opportunity (36+ hours per week) which offers applicants a higher rate of pay and a select offer of benefits. Requirements of benefits alternative positions are that:

  • You must work a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
  • You agree to work the schedule determined by your hiring manager.
  • If you are considering a clinical position (nurse, clinical technician, etc.) you must have at least 1 year of experience in that specialty.
Job Description:

Purpose & Scope:

Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require ingenuity and initiative in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.

Education:

Graduation from an accredited program in radiologic technology is required.

Experience:

One year of healthcare/medical - radiology experience is preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.

BLS certification is required.

Additional Job Description:

Pay & Benefits: Commensurate with experience. Team members are eligible to receive benefits on the first day of the month following the date of hire, with 30 days to apply for benefits of choice.
