    The Benefits Communications Consultant translates complex benefits proposals, strategy discussions, and technical plans into clear, actionable executive-level communications.  This role bridges the gap between benefits business leaders and key governance groups, ensuring stakeholders have information to assess the value proposition, compliance risks, and strategic impact of reward programs and related decisions. 

    Stakeholder & Governance Communication

    • Translate technical benefits information/data into executive summaries for governance and oversight committees
    • Prepare high-impact presentations based on benefits leadership strategic plans/direction
    • Present complex benefits recommendations and changes to audiences with and without technical expertise
    • Align the delivery of communication materials with governance standards and timelines

    Content & Advisory

    • Advise leadership team on communications format and content

    • Facilitate feedback loops between oversight committees and benefits business leaders and teams

    • Ensure consistent brand voice across all executive and stakeholder materials

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, or related fields ; Master’s degree in Communications preferred

    • 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, preferably focused on benefits

    • Proven track record in preparing communications for executive leaders, boards, or governance groups

    • Experience navigating matrix corporate environments and complex approval processes

    Technical Knowledge

    • Solid understanding of benefits plan administration

    Additional Requirements:

    • This position will require at minimum fingerprinting for a criminal background check, education and employment verification, along with potential additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. Any offer of employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of any required background screening. These screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to approximately 8 weeks to be completed. The screening covers areas such as education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reaches out to your references and people that know you well.

      • For Law Enforcement positions, physical, psychological, drug, stress/EKG, and attending an academy will be required.

    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
