Job Description Summary

The Benefits Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the company''s employee benefits and leave of absence programs. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employee benefit and leave-related inquiries and supports benefit transactions, enrollment activities, life event changes, leave administration, billing support, and employee communications.

What You'll Do

As the Benefits Coordinator you will:

• Respond to employee inquiries regarding medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
• Educate employees on benefit programs, enrollment procedures, and required documentation.
• Assist with benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Administer employee life event changes.
• Support annual Open Enrollment activities.
• Assist with vendor billing reconciliation and eligibility issues.
• Maintain benefit records and support compliance reporting.
• Assist with administration of FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, parental leave, and personal leave programs.
• Support special projects and process improvements.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of HR, benefits, payroll, or employee services experience.
• Workday experience preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.

• Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
• Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle if applicable
• Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
