Note: This is a casual Community Service Aide (CSA II) position with a maximum of 1,400 hours in a calendar year.
The City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) is seeking a Community Service Aide II for the Engineering Services Division, within the Private Property Retrofits Program (PPRP) to partner with private landowners to install stormwater management systems such as rain gardens, pervious pavers and drywells to help alleviate stormwater flows to public infrastructure. This position will conduct outreach to past program participants and survey past project sites to collect data on plant health, system functionality, and maintenance experiences. These efforts will help inform and update current PPRP designs and practices to help improve facility longevity and ease of maintenance. Additionally, the position will support the day to day management of the program's drainage inquiry hotline and email, connecting community members with resources and supporting the work of senior staff.

Retirement
