Key Responsibilities
- Morning Shop Sync: Report to the 77032 office daily at 8:00 AM sharp to coordinate with the manager, sync tickets, and stock your vehicle's parts kit.
- Logical Equipment Service: Diagnose, repair, and install beverage equipment (coffee, cappuccino, and slushie machines). We prioritize true electrical and mechanical diagnostics over random "part swapping."
- Equipment Deployment & Extraction: Safely install, secure, calibrate, and completely remove commercial beverage equipment at customer locations according to factory standards.
- Water Line Plumbing: Run, connect, and secure low-pressure water systems. This primarily involves running flexible tubing utilizing barb fittings and Oetiker clamps, with occasional configuration of compression and quick-connect fittings. Integrate multi-stage water filtration networks to protect coffee equipment from scale buildup.
- Inventory & App Tracking: Maintain a clean, organized parts kit on your vehicle. Accurately log parts used and type detailed diagnostic findings into our mobile field service app.
- Customer Support: Resolve customer issues swiftly and train restaurant/convenience store staff on basic equipment use and daily cleaning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on mechanical, electro-mechanical, plumbing, automotive, or electrical troubleshooting experience. (Vending machine, appliance repair, water filtration/softener installation, ATM, or light HVAC/refrigeration experience is highly preferred).
- Tool Competency: Must own your own basic hand tools and possess excellent mechanical skills.
- Multimeter Literacy: Know how to use a digital multimeter to test components for voltage, continuity, and resistance (ohms) using basic wiring diagrams.
- Proximity & Commute: Must reside within a short commuting distance of the Houston 77032 ZIP code area for daily 8:00 AM arrival.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating smartphone to track inventory and log daily service reports.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record.
