Beverage Industry - Production Associate – Processor crew C

Sunny Sky Products - Douglassville is a leading aseptic beverage manufacturer located in Douglassville, PA. We specialize in processing shelf-stable dairy, coffee beverages, and coffee creamers. Our company is rapidly growing and is seeking passionate people to join our team.

The Processor – Production Associate supports the plant’s batching and processing operations within the Batching/Processing area, reporting to the Production Supervisor (with the Production Lead providing alternate coverage). This role ensures ingredients are properly batched, processed, and documented to maintain optimal product quality, safety, and compliance. The Processor works closely with the Production Supervisor, Production Lead, and Maintenance to support daily production runs and food safety initiatives. This is a full-time, hourly position that is not responsible for supervising employees.

*This position is based in a manufacturing plant environment, which may involve exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, wet or cold processing areas, and varying temperatures. The role may require occasional evening, weekend, or shift work to support production schedules.

Major Job Functions

• Check daily production schedule to review the day’s scheduled production
• Verify cleanliness of all production equipment prior to production start-up
• Batching products and vitamin addition
• Recording lot numbers on batch sheets
• Monitor ingredient wholesomeness throughout the production shift
• SAP management with minor and major ingredients and proper identification of materials used in SAP software
• Maintain hourly check documents
• Monitor UHT processes
• Notify Management of any abnormalities
• Notify Maintenance of any mechanical issues
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment throughout the production shift
• Responsible for the quality and safety of products produced by Sunny Sky Products
• Sampling of Milk Tankers, Unloading Milk Tankers, Cleaning of Milk Tankers
• Sampling of Cream Tankers, Unloading Cream Tankers, Cleaning of Cream Tankers
• Unloading of Sugar Tankers
• CIP Operator
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and PPE requirements for the position

Required Skills/Abilities/Education

• Experience in food manufacturing as a processor / batcher / blender
• Ability to operate / understand computer systems and machinery
• Knowledgeable in basic mathematics
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good record keeping
• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs.

Our production team runs on 12-hour shifts, 3 days one week, and 4 days the following week.

• Full-time job
• Crew C - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Saturday- 3 PM-3:30 AM.

Salary

• $23.50 per hour base rate, plus a $2.00 shifts differential
