Duties

• Knowledgeable in duties, responsibilities, and safety for coaching, and promoting competitive varsity softball program.
• Facilitating off-season workouts in conjunction with head coach, and athletic department.
• Good communicator with various stakeholders at our school including fellow coaches, administration, athletic director, teachers, students and parents.
• Work with head coaches to organize camps for the lower grade levels to build a program.
• Knowledge of the IHSA rules and regulations governing a competitive program.
• Assisting with student-centered, integrity based positive environment, enabling athletes the opportunity to excel academically and athletically.
• Actively work toward positive partnerships with other district extracurricular coaches and programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with students, administration and parents
• Strong organizational skills desired
• Previous experience coaching softball

Salary/Benefits

Stipend in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.
