Big Island- Laborer (Non Driver)

Job Summary**

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a dedicated and physically capable Laborer to join our team on the Big Island. This role is crucial for supporting our renewable energy projects through various essential manual tasks, requiring a strong work ethic and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Responsibilities**

* Perform general labor duties such as digging trenches, moving materials, and clearing work areas.
* Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, pipefitters) with tasks like carrying tools, holding equipment, and preparing work sites.
* Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and storage areas.
* Operate small hand and power tools as instructed and trained.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waste disposal and site cleanup.
* Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Follow directions from supervisors and lead personnel efficiently and accurately.
* Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support project needs.

Job Qualifications**

* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly, bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
* Prior experience in construction, labor, or a similar physically demanding role is preferred but not required.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
* Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
* Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
* Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site on the Big Island (this is a non-driver position, so a personal vehicle is not required for work-related driving, but reliable transport to the site is essential).
