Position: Line Cook / Cook

We are hiring motivated, reliable Line Cooks to join our Big Woods Speedway kitchen. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys preparing high-quality food from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items from scratch using a variety of culinary techniques

  • Work closely with the Chef to execute dishes consistently and maintain kitchen standards

  • Assist with training and developing fellow line cooks

  • Collaborate with managers and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen

  • Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and rotation procedures

  • Support the team with prep work, portioning, grilling, sautéing, and other cooking tasks

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with staff, management, and guests

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs. during shifts

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • ServeSafe certification preferred (not required)

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience is a plus
