Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced BigCommerce Architect to design and implement scalable eCommerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in BigCommerce development, headless commerce, and third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement scalable eCommerce architecture on BigCommerce
Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to development teams
Develop headless commerce solutions using BigCommerce APIs, GraphQL, and Webhooks
Integrate BigCommerce with ERP, CRM, PIM, OMS, and payment gateways
Optimize site performance, security, and scalability
Establish coding standards, best practices, and reusable components
Work closely with UI/UX teams for seamless customer experiences
Stay updated on BigCommerce releases, APIs, and industry trends

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years in eCommerce development (3+ years in BigCommerce)
Strong knowledge of BigCommerce Stencil, APIs, and headless commerce
Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, or Vue.js
Experience integrating with third-party applications using RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and deployment strategies
Solid understanding of performance optimization, caching, and security best practices
Strong knowledge of eCommerce workflows, product catalogs, checkout, and payments
Bonus: Experience with MACH architecture (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless)
