Bilingual Collections Specialist, In-House Furniture Financing
$18-$24/hr plus commission | Full time | 3925 W Adams St, Suite 1, Phoenix, AZ 85009
Del Sol Furniture finances our own customers through our in-house lending company. As a collector here, you work our own accounts: real customers who bought furniture from us and who we want to keep as customers. The job is to find a payment solution that works, not to burn the relationship.
We are looking for a bilingual collector who can have a hard conversation with respect, negotiate a real payment arrangement, and hit their numbers month after month.
What You Will Earn

Your Schedule
Our collections team works Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Arizona time. You'll work 5 days a week, 40 hours, with Saturdays included. Each day is an 8-hour shift plus a 1-hour lunch, scheduled anywhere within those hours. Common shifts:
- Early: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Mid: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Late: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
The job is in person at our Phoenix office, 3925 W Adams St, Suite 1.
What You Will Do
- Call customers with past-due accounts, in English and Spanish, and work out payment arrangements that stick
- Follow company policy and all applicable state and federal consumer lending rules
- Document every conversation and payment agreement accurately in our system
- Work with our credit and customer service teams to resolve account issues before they become delinquent
- Meet or exceed your monthly collection, call volume and follow-up goals
- Handle upset customers with composure and professionalism
The Team
You'll join a small, close-knit collections team working an assigned portfolio of our own accounts, with direct support from our collections manager and team lead.
Who We Are Looking For
- Fluent in English and Spanish. This is required, because you will use both every day.
- 1+ year in collections, accounts receivable, loan servicing, or another role where you handled payment conversations
- A track record of hitting targets. Tell us your numbers when you apply.
- A negotiator who is firm without being aggressive
- Persistent and resilient, with strong documentation habits
- Comfortable learning new software. We train on our systems.
