5th HQ Staffing is currently hiring a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Lab Tech III for a pharmaceutical laboratory in Davie, FL. This is a full-time, second shift opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with laboratory experience and strong GMP knowledge.
Location: Davie, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate chemical and physical properties of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
- Perform routine chemical analysis following GMP and GLP guidelines
- Prepare volumetric test solutions and mobile phases
- Utilize HPLC, ICP, titration techniques, and other laboratory equipment
- Calculate, interpret, and review test results
- Prepare test reports and review laboratory notebooks
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with SOPs and cGLPs
- Perform OOS (Out of Specification) investigations (Phase I)
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and qualify laboratory equipment
- Maintain laboratory housekeeping, including waste disposal and glassware cleaning
- Dispose of laboratory waste according to EPA regulations
- Assist Chemists as needed
- Follow all laboratory safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Science discipline or equivalent laboratory experience
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience (pharmaceutical industry preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Knowledge of HPLC, ICP-MS, GC, UV, FT-NIR and other lab instruments
- Knowledge of GMP and GLP practices
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Quality Management Systems)
- Ability to work second shift and rotating or night shifts if needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation and safety practices
