Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently.
Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
Assist in the preparation of medical charts and documentation.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
Handle insurance verification and patient billing inquiries.
Requirements:
Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Previous experience as a medical assistant or in a healthcare setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a medical assistant is a plus.
