Scope of Work:

• Dispatching drayage and short-distance (local) trucking in South Bay, California.
• Coordination with the Freight Forwarding team to monitor Over the Road (OTR) trucking operations.

Role & Responsibilities:


As a Dispatcher, you will coordinate daily trucking operations to ensure seamless freight movement while maintaining strict regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

• Execute daily dispatching of drivers and equipment to meet pickup and delivery schedules.
• Perform comprehensive documentation and record-keeping, including driver logs, bills of lading, and shipment entries.
• Enforce strict adherence to DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and internal safety policies.
• Monitor real-time freight movements using TMS and provide proactive status updates to customers.
• Troubleshoot operational delays and resolve service-related issues.
• Analyze and adjust routes to maximize equipment utilization and fuel efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Freight Forwarding team to monitor and update Over the Road (OTR) trucking shipments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience in a fast-paced environment (Drayage preferred), with proven ability to coordinate truck routes, drivers, and freight, while effectively prioritizing multiple shipments and problem-solving.
• Additional experience in other logistics sectors, such as Freight Forwarding, is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS).
• Proficiency in TMS, dispatch software, and Microsoft Office.
• Bilingual in English and Korean (Preferred).
