Community Interface Services is hiring a Full-Time Resource Counselor to support adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence. If you are interested in community-driven work, then become part of our dynamic, person-centered team.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Resource Counselor, you will work with participants in our Independent Living program and provide individualized, person-centered support to each person. This support could look like assisting with maintaining housing, accessing resources for children at school and in the community, or navigating housing assistance programs. You will manage a caseload of participants independently scheduled and follow up with each person to ensure they receive the support needed to maintain housing or quality of life. Each individual has unique circumstances, and as the Resource Counselor you will be navigating different resources and benefits. This position requires a high level of communication, persistence, and problem solving. This role is hands-on, one-on-one focused, and essential to improving the quality of life for those we serve.
