    Job Description

Bilingual (Spanish/English) Outside Sales Representative (Miami)

    Miami, FL | Full-Time | Field Sales

$60,000 base salary + uncapped commission - $85,000+/yr at plan

    Job Summary

Sauce helps independent restaurants take control of their online ordering and delivery business and keep more of the revenue they generate. We're seeking a motivated, bilingual Outside Sales Representative to build our presence in Miami.

This is a high-activity hunter role. You'll own an assigned territory, walk into 60-80 restaurants a week, work up to the owner, run demos, and close net-new accounts on short sales cycles - in English and in Spanish. There is no book of business to inherit. The pipeline you close is the pipeline you build.

If your best months came from doors you knocked and calls you made - not from accounts someone handed you - keep reading.

    What You'll Do

    • Own and develop an assigned Miami territory of independent restaurants and small local chains.
    • Work your territory systematically - by corridor, plaza, and neighborhood - so every day in the field is planned, not improvised.
    • Walk in cold, 60-80 doors a week. Research the account in CRM and online before you walk in so you already know who you're looking for.
    • Get to the owner. Build rapport with servers, cashiers, and managers, learn who actually makes decisions, and earn the introduction - and the vouch - that gets you the real conversation.
    • Prospect by phone and set your own appointments to fill the gaps between field visits.
    • Open business conversations around delivery fees, margins, online ordering, and customer ownership; ask the questions that uncover where Sauce creates value.
    • Run product demos, handle objections, negotiate pricing and terms, and close - in English or Spanish, whichever the owner prefers.
    • Close in volume. This is a high-frequency, smaller-ticket, short-cycle sale - multiple new accounts every month, not a few big deals a quarter.
    • Stay with the account after the signature. Partner with onboarding and support so new restaurants actually launch, and escalate when something is stuck.
    • Bring field feedback back to product, ops, and marketing. If you hear the same objection or complaint three times, the people who can fix it should hear it from you.
    • Keep activity, follow-ups, account notes, and pipeline accurate in CRM.

    What We're Looking For

We're going to ask about each of these in the interview, with specifics. If you can answer them with real numbers and real stories, you'll be a strong fit.

    • Restaurant experience. You've sold into independent restaurants or small local chains, and you know how to get to the owner on a cold walk-in - winning over the staff first, not just asking for the manager at the counter.
    • Field cold-calling. You've worked a field territory at 60-80 doors a week and can explain how you planned it - which corridors, which plazas, what you checked in CRM before walking in.
    • Hunter volume. Most of your revenue came from net-new accounts you found yourself, not an existing book. You're used to closing several deals a month at smaller ticket sizes on short cycles.
    • Startup fit. You've taken a customer problem and worked it through another team instead of handing it off - stayed with an account through implementation, escalated something to get it fixed, or brought a recurring complaint back to the people who could solve it.
    • Spanish/English fluency (required). You've sold, negotiated pricing, and closed in Spanish. A meaningful share of your accounts were Spanish-speaking, and you're equally comfortable running the full sales conversation in either language.

    Experience That Stands Out

Traditional B2B sales experience helps, but drive, resilience, and the ability to create your own opportunities matter just as much. We're especially interested in candidates coming from:

    • Restaurant technology, POS, or online ordering sales
    • Merchant services or payments
    • Food and beverage distribution or route sales
    • Telecom or business internet field sales
    • Restaurant management or operations
    • Any field-based B2B role built on outbound prospecting and net-new business

    What Winning Looks Like

This isn't about one great day. It's about consistency. Successful reps:

    • Hit their weekly door and call activity every week
    • Source the majority of their own pipeline
    • Turn conversations into demos and demos into customers
    • Hit weekly and monthly new-account goals
    • Work effectively with internal teams after the sale
    • Bring useful customer and market feedback back to the business
    • Take coaching, adjust, and keep improving

    Compensation

$60,000 base salary + uncapped commission

Total compensation at plan: $85,000+ per year

Commission is uncapped. Strong performers earn above plan, and because this is a volume business, every additional account you close moves your number.

    Benefits

    • 401(k) eligibility beginning immediately with employer match
    • Employer contribution toward individual health coverage after the eligibility period
    • Dental, vision, and life insurance
    • Employee assistance program
    • Paid sick time, paid vacation, and paid company holidays
    • Paid training and professional development assistance
    • $250 employee referral bonus
    • Opportunities for advancement as the program grows

    One Last Thing

Outside sales isn't for everyone. You'll hear no. You'll walk into restaurants during the lunch rush. You'll make calls that don't get returned. Some days you'll have to create your own momentum.

But you'll also build real relationships with business owners, solve problems that hit their bottom line directly, build a territory that's yours, and get paid for what you close.

If you're bilingual, you've sold to restaurants, you know what 60 doors a week feels like, and you'd rather build a pipeline than inherit one - we want to meet you.
