About the Role:
Exceptional Pediatric Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our growing team in Houston, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children by supporting speech and language development in a rewarding clinical environment.



Responsibilities:
  • Implement speech-language therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients targeting articulation, language, fluency, and communication skills
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate session notes in compliance with clinical standards
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and assistive communication tools
  • Collaborate with supervising SLPs, families, and caregivers to support carry-over of therapy goals
  • Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
  • Valid Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and techniques is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families
  • Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting child development
