About the Role: Exceptional Pediatric Therapy LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our growing team in Houston, TX! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children by supporting speech and language development in a rewarding clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Implement speech-language therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients targeting articulation, language, fluency, and communication skills
Document patient progress and maintain accurate session notes in compliance with clinical standards
Prepare and organize therapy materials, activities, and assistive communication tools
Collaborate with supervising SLPs, families, and caregivers to support carry-over of therapy goals
Maintain a safe, engaging, and child-friendly therapy environment
Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education opportunities
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field
Valid Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and techniques is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children and families
Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting child development
