Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Verify work orders, purchase orders, and supporting documentation prior to billing
Process cash, checks, credit card payments, and other transactions as needed
Reconcile daily billing activity and resolve billing discrepancies
Maintain accurate customer accounts and billing records
Assist with accounts receivable by processing payments and following up on outstanding balances
Answer customer questions regarding invoices, payments, and account information
Collaborate with service advisors, technicians, and management to ensure accurate billing
File and maintain billing documents in accordance with company procedures
Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including answering phones and assisting customers
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information
Support other store administrative functions as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous billing, accounting, administrative, or customer service experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Experience with accounting, billing, or point-of-sale software preferred
Strong mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the workday
Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to work in an office environment within a retail or commercial service location
