Billing Analyst

ROLE IMPACT
As a Billing Analyst, you will help ensure accurate, timely customer billing while supporting the integrity of the company's financial operations. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, and business teams to improve billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain reliable financial records that support informed business decisions and exceptional client service.
Prepare, review, and compile customer invoice packages with supporting documentation for approval and timely distribution.
Verify billable employee time, investigate unbilled items, and identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy and revenue capture.
Maintain organized billing documentation and customer billing records to support financial reporting and audit readiness.
Reconcile billing and cash application variances in partnership with the accounting team.
Generate recurring receivables, billing, and operational reports for Finance and business leaders.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with month-end financial activities.
Support internal and external audits through research, reconciliations, and documentation.
Recommend and support process improvements that increase billing efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
Collaborate with Finance, Project Managers, and other departments to resolve billing questions and support business operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related accounting function.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Daily physical presence in the Richardson, TX office is required.
Regularly sits, stands, and walks throughout the workday.
Frequently operates a computer, keyboard, and other standard office equipment.
Must be able to communicate effectively with employees and customers, exchanging accurate information in person, by phone, and electronically.
Regularly reviews, analyzes, updates, and maintains financial and operational data.
