Billing Clerk

Auburn Concrete currently has a position open as a Billing Clerk at our main office in Auburn, ME. Come work for the largest Ready Mix company in the state, a proven leader in Ready Mix Concrete. Auburn Concrete has just celebrated 28 years in business as a family owned company. We currently have 11 Ready Mix locations in the state and we continue to grow. 

As Billing Clerk, the primary responsibility is to support accurate and timely customer billing in the following ways:

• Delivery ticket review, price and job verification, daily invoice preparation for supervisor review
• Work closely with dispatch, sales, plant personnel, customers and accounting staff
• Assist with customer payments
• Other customer related tasks

Who we are looking for:

• High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of training and work experience. 
• Previous billing, accounts receivable, data entry, bookkeeping, or administrative experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn industry-specific software.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and apply quotes, rate sheets, purchase orders, delivery tickets, and customer instructions.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize recurring deadlines and manage interruptions without sacrificing accuracy.

Compensation details: 24-26 Hourly Wage
