Salary: $19.73 - $26.70 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Extensive experience managing Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing for skilled nursing facilities, including claims processing, reimbursement analysis, and coordination of benefits.
  • Proven ability to verify insurance eligibility, prior authorizations, and determine patient financial responsibility while ensuring compliance with Medicare and skilled facility billing guidelines.
  • Skilled in resolving billing discrepancies, reconciling claims, and maintaining accurate patient account documentation to support timely reimbursement and reduce denied or unbilled claims.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with patients, providers, insurance carriers, and facility staff to address coverage issues, authorization requirements, and payment resolutions.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • Matrix care experience
  • Skilled Nursing experience
  • Medicare experience
