Job Description
We are looking for an experienced BillingPlatform Technical Consultant/Developer with strong hands-on implementation experience in BillingPlatform. The ideal candidate should have practical experience designing, configuring, developing, and troubleshooting BillingPlatform solutions in enterprise environments. BillingPlatform certifications alone are not sufficient; candidates must demonstrate real-world implementation experience.

Experience Level
Recommended: 4+ years of overall experience in billing/CRM/enterprise application implementation, with significant hands-on experience in BillingPlatform implementation and production support.

Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and implement BillingPlatform solutions based on business and functional requirements.
Perform entity configuration, including creation and customization of objects, fields, relationships, validations, workflows, and business rules.
Configure and manage user roles, profiles, permissions, access controls, and security models.
Participate in overall system configuration and technical design, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with BillingPlatform best practices.
Develop and customize BillingPlatform reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support operational and business reporting requirements.
Configure billing, invoicing, payments, customer/account, product, pricing, and related platform functionality as required.
Support integration requirements between BillingPlatform and external systems using available APIs, web services, integration frameworks, and data interfaces.
Perform data configuration, migration support, validation, and troubleshooting across BillingPlatform environments.
Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes or configuration changes.
Troubleshoot issues related to configuration, workflows, business rules, data, integrations, reports, and user access.
Participate in unit testing, system/integration testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production support.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, architects, QA teams, and other technical teams to translate requirements into effective BillingPlatform solutions.
Review existing configurations and recommend improvements for performance, usability, maintainability, and scalability.
Prepare technical documentation covering configurations, customizations, integrations, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
Support release management and deployment activities across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.

Required Technical Experience
Candidates should have hands-on BillingPlatform implementation experience in the following areas:
1. Entity Configuration

Hands-on experience creating and configuring BillingPlatform entities/objects.
Experience with fields, relationships, validations, business rules, workflows, and entity-level configurations.
Ability to translate functional requirements into appropriate BillingPlatform data and entity models.
Experience modifying and troubleshooting existing entity configurations.

2. User Roles & Permissions

Experience configuring users, roles, profiles, permissions, and access controls.
Understanding of BillingPlatform security and data-access models.
Ability to troubleshoot user access and authorization issues.
Experience implementing role-based access based on business requirements.

3. System Configuration & Technical Design

Practical experience configuring BillingPlatform modules and platform functionality.
Ability to understand business processes and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Experience with billing, invoicing, payments, customer/account, product, pricing, and related configurations.
Understanding of configuration dependencies and impacts across the BillingPlatform application.
Experience working across multiple environments such as Development, QA, UAT, and Production.

4. Report Development

Experience developing and modifying BillingPlatform reports and dashboards.
Ability to understand reporting requirements and identify appropriate data sources and relationships.
Experience troubleshooting report data, filters, joins/relationships, calculations, and access-related issues.
Ability to create operational and business reports based on stakeholder requirements.

5. Troubleshooting & Production Support

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within BillingPlatform.
Ability to analyze configuration, data, workflow, permission, reporting, and integration issues.
Experience performing root-cause analysis and implementing permanent fixes.
Ability to work with logs, error messages, system behavior, and data to isolate issues.
Experience supporting production incidents and resolving issues within defined SLAs.
Strong understanding of change management and impact analysis before implementing fixes.

Integration Experience Preferred

Experience integrating BillingPlatform with external applications and enterprise systems.
Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
Experience with data imports/exports and integration troubleshooting.
Understanding of customer, product, pricing, billing, invoice, payment, and financial-system integrations.
Experience working with middleware or integration platforms is a plus.

Additional Qualifications

Strong understanding of billing and subscription-based business processes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Ability to independently analyze requirements and provide technical solutions.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Experience working with distributed/global teams.
Ability to participate in design discussions and provide technical recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Mandatory Requirement
Hands-on BillingPlatform implementation experience is mandatory. Candidates with only BillingPlatform certification/training but without practical implementation experience should not be considered.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience with at least several of the following:

BillingPlatform entity configuration
User roles and permissions
System/application configuration
Billing and invoicing configuration
Report development
Workflow/business-rule configuration
Data configuration/migration
Integrations/API
Production support and troubleshooting
Defect resolution and root-cause analysis
