BIM Manager

BIM Manager (Remote | Must be located in Shreveport, LA or Houston, TX)

Seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead BIM/VDC efforts across a portfolio of hyperscale data center projects throughout the U.S. and Canada. This role will serve as the primary BIM lead, overseeing MEP model coordination, clash detection, constructability reviews, and field execution support for mission-critical projects.

This is a remote position with up to 50% travel to active project sites. In addition to supporting ongoing projects, this individual will help build and manage a growing team of BIM Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM/VDC strategy and coordination across multiple data center projects.
• Perform MEP model reviews, clash detection, constructability analysis, and coordination using models from engineers, vendors, and trade partners.
• Facilitate coordination meetings and drive issue resolution between project stakeholders.
• Maintain BIM standards, workflows, and model quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support prefabrication and modular construction initiatives to improve project delivery.
• Partner with project teams to align BIM execution with schedule and construction objectives.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a distributed BIM coordination team as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of BIM/VDC experience on large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with MEP coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360, and Procore.
• Experience leading BIM teams and supporting fast-track construction environments.
• Knowledge of prefabrication, modular construction, and field execution is highly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without sponsorship.
