This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.About the RoleHDR is looking for a BIM Model Manager to join our Building Engineering Services team in either Charlotte or Raleigh. In the role of BIM Model Manager, we'll count on you to:ResponsibilitiesManage the digital model environment and deliverables for an entire projectHave an advanced understanding of how all disciplines interact and how construction documents are producedWork directly with the Project Manager to generate and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), while managing the deliverables outlined withinBegin the project initiation procedure, establishing the server infrastructure, discipline models, and digital deliverables outlined in the project scopeExecute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the complete lifecycle of projectsProvide technical support, while communicating the deliverable schedule to the project teamMaintain quality, monitoring the model health and coordination processes of the project, from the planning phase thru issue of construction documentsExecute these tasks with minimal oversight by the Digital Delivery Leads and provide guidance to project team membersDevelop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP)Establish the document management system and maintain the server infrastructure for multi‑discipline projectsEnsure the team has the appropriate software, versions, access, and training needed to execute the project requirementsGenerate and maintain model setup including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match‑lines, views, sheets, and general models, to accommodate the disciplines and project requirementsMonitor and maintain company standards and model healthHost Digital Delivery coordination meetings with the project team to ensure optimal quality control through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processesCommunicate, coordinate, and compile all project digital deliverables and exchange process at predetermined milestonesProject archiving at submittals and closeoutEngage in close and effective communication and presentations with HDR management, production staff, and clientsPreferred QualificationsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a mustLocal candidates are preferredRequired QualificationsTechnical degree or a combination of education and related industry experienceA minimum of 5 years related industry experienceAdvanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructureAdvanced skillset of 3D Coordination toolCompetency of Microsoft Office products and communication toolsAdvanced understanding of engineering or architectural conceptsKnowledge of industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specificationsExcellent communication skills, attention to detail and organizational traits are essentialWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
