BIM/VDC Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a talented BIM/VDC Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and execution of BIM/VDC activities on industrial, commercial, manufacturing, energy, and data center projects.

The BIM/VDC Coordinator will work closely with project managers, engineers, field teams, subcontractors, and clients to develop coordinated construction models that improve project efficiency, reduce rework, and enhance project execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and coordinate BIM models throughout project lifecycle.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
• Produce construction drawings, model reports, and coordination deliverables.
• Support constructability reviews and model-based planning efforts.
• Assist with reality capture, laser scanning, and model integration when applicable.
• Maintain model accuracy and compliance with project BIM Execution Plans.
• Support field teams with model navigation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with design consultants, subcontractors, and owners.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Associate''s or Bachelor''s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
• 2+ years of BIM coordination experience.
• Proficiency with:
• Revit
• Navisworks Manage
• Autodesk Construction Cloud
• AutoCAD
• Bluebeam
• Understanding of construction drawings and coordination processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with industrial construction projects.
• Mechanical, piping, HVAC, electrical, or structural experience.
• Familiarity with laser scanning and reality capture technologies.
• Data center project experience preferred.
