Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bindery Helper / Cutter & Folder Operator for a growing production team in Tulsa. This position supports daily bindery operations by assisting with cutting, folding, and preparing printed materials according to production requirements.
Candidates with previous paper cutter experience, folding machine experience, or both are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain consistent quality while working in a fast-paced production environment.

Required Experience & Skills

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with daily bindery production operations, including cutting, folding, and preparing printed materials for additional processing.
Operate or assist with industrial paper cutters and folding equipment according to assigned responsibilities and experience.
Follow production instructions, job specifications, and applicable measurements to ensure materials are processed accurately.
Inspect completed materials for cutting accuracy, proper folding, alignment, and overall quality. Identify and report equipment or production concerns to supervisors.
Organize finished materials, maintain clean and safe work areas, and assist with additional production duties as assigned.
Follow all company safety procedures and equipment operating requirements.
Cutting & Folding Operations
Candidates may work with industrial paper-cutting and folding machinery to process printed materials according to customer and production specifications.
Responsibilities may include preparing materials, assisting with machine setup, monitoring equipment during production, and checking completed products for accuracy.
Previous experience with either cutting or folding equipment is valuable. Candidates with experience operating both types of equipment are especially encouraged to apply.
Production Quality & Accuracy
Inspect processed materials to ensure cuts, folds, and finished products meet applicable specifications.
Maintain attention to detail throughout repetitive production runs, identify quality concerns, and communicate discrepancies promptly.
Candidates should be comfortable maintaining production efficiency without sacrificing accuracy or workmanship.
Equipment & Production Support
Assist with organizing materials, preparing equipment for production, monitoring workflow, and supporting experienced machine operators.
Report unusual equipment performance or mechanical concerns and help maintain clean, organized workstations.
All machinery must be operated according to established safety procedures and applicable training requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Bindery Helper, Bindery Operator, Cutter Operator, Folder Operator, Printing Production Associate, or Machine Operator is preferred.
Experience with industrial paper cutters, folding machines, print finishing, production equipment, or related manufacturing operations is valuable.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Candidates should be comfortable bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and handling paper materials as required.
Work takes place in a production and bindery environment with regular exposure to cutting equipment, folding machinery, and printed materials.
Strong attention to machine safety, quality, and production standards is required.
Schedule & Overtime
MondayThursday: 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Friday: 6:30 AM 3:00 PM
Employees receive a 30-minute lunch break daily.
Overtime may be available during peak production periods based on workload and business needs.
