Key Responsibilities:- Process, clean, organize, and analyze healthcare and research datasets using R or Python.
- Support epidemiological studies by preparing datasets and conducting analyses according to established study requirements and guidelines.
- Extract, merge, query, consolidate, and organize data from multiple sources to support analytical projects.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to identify inconsistencies, improve accuracy, and maintain data integrity.
- Conduct basic statistical analyses, including descriptive statistics, summary calculations, and routine analytical procedures.
- Prepare statistical summaries, analytical reports, data visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings clearly.
- Assist senior team members in translating research and business requirements into appropriate data preparation and analytical activities.
- Support the development, maintenance, and automation of recurring reports and data analysis workflows.
- Document data sources, processing methods, analytical procedures, and project deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, communicate progress, and meet project deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to improve data processing, reporting accuracy, and analytical efficiency.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and quality guidelines while continuously developing technical and analytical skills.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:- Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health, Data Science, or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on programming experience in R or Python.
- Understanding of epidemiological study requirements and basic research methodologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare data and its use in research, analysis, or reporting.
- Practical knowledge of data cleaning, data processing, data organization, and statistical analysis.
- Understanding of descriptive statistics and fundamental statistical concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members, follow established procedures, document work, and meet deadlines.
- Academic research, internship, thesis, or professional project experience involving biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or healthcare analytics.
- Experience using R or Python to manipulate datasets and generate statistical summaries.
- Familiarity with observational healthcare data, clinical research data, or public health datasets.
- Experience preparing research reports, analytical presentations, tables, or visualizations.
- Interest in developing reproducible analytical workflows and automating routine reporting activities.
