Birthday & Event Coordinator

Life's too short not to work somewhere awesome! The Little Gym of Seekonk opens in January 2027, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative team member to join us as our Birthday & Event Coordinator. This person will own our birthday party program from the first inquiry to the final high five. You will be the creative force behind our birthday parties, special events, and social media presence.


This is a role for someone with a year or two of experience in events, childcare, hospitality, or customer-facing work who will help build our party program from day one. Birthday parties and events are important tools for helping us grow our membership base. There is lots of room for growth in this position, as we will be opening a second location in 2027!


What You Will Own


Birthday Parties

• Manage all aspects of our Awesome Birthday Bash program, including inquiries, bookings, party preparation, execution, and follow-ups. You will also be responsible for managing birthday party staff and supplies.
  
  
• Lead parties on the gym floor using our proven curriculum.
  
  
• Communicate with families to ensure every birthday child feels special and every celebration runs smoothly.
  
  
• Grow the program by tracking trends and bringing new themes, partnerships, and add-on options to the team.
  
  
• Promote our weekly class program to all birthday party guests.
  
  

Social Media & Marketing

• Capture photos and videos of classes, parties, special events, and all the Serious Fun happening in our gym, following our photo policies.
  
  
• Create, schedule, and publish posts and Reels across multiple platforms while maintaining The Little Gym's brand.
  
  
• Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages the Little Gym way.
  
  
• Identify social media trends and bring creative ideas to the team, helping us connect with our community.
  
  

Special Events & Community Engagement

• Help with the planning and execution of open houses, holiday events, camps, and community events.
  
  
• Represent The Little Gym at local events.
  
  
• Ensure leads generated from events are followed up on.
  
  

You Will Be a Good Fit Here If…

• You have 1–2 years of experience in event coordination, childcare, youth programming, camps, hospitality, or similar work.
  
  
• You are equal parts organized and creative. You can manage a fully booked weekend of parties while also dreaming up the next viral Instagram Reel.
  
  
• You enjoy creating content and are comfortable using tools like Canva, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  
  
• You are comfortable and confident communicating with parents by phone and in person.
  
  
• WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED.

You'll start by running our party program. Depending on your performance and our growth, this role can expand into event leadership across multiple locations, other management responsibilities, or the instructor and leadership training tracks offered through The Little Gym system.
