Blast Line General Labor needed in Youngstown, OH. Were looking for dependable, safety-minded team members to help move steel plates through the blast process, monitor equipment, and keep production moving.
Hours
Shift: 1st Shift
Shift time: 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
On-site role in Youngstown, OH
Schedule: 40 hours/week

Pay
$15.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Move steel plates through the blaster and run a vibrating table as assigned
Observe machine/robot operation to spot defects or malfunctions
Make simple adjustments to machines as needed
Follow verbal instructions from supervisors
Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and orderly
Report abnormal equipment conditions to supervision
Maintain situational awareness around moving machinery and coworkers
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Ohio Drivers License
Strong mathematical aptitude and hand-eye coordination
Reliable, dependable, and willing to learn company processes
Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervision
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the shift
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
Tolerance for working in varying temperatures
Ability to respond quickly to sounds and potential hazards
Proper use of personal protective equipment at all times
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience in an industrial, steel, or general labor environment
Forklift experience
