POSITION OVERVIEW

The Blending Technician completes daily scheduled blending and oversees the cleaning and sanitation of the production areas.Required Skill Set: Function independently as well as actively participate in a team environment; fast, accurate, and detailed in a fast-moving environment; Prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously; Able to lift objects up to 55 pounds repeatedly throughout the dayResponsibilities for Food Safety: Use of appropriate logs and procedures for Shipping and Receiving, Raw Material Testing, Ingredient Blending, Ingredient Storage, Allergen Segregation and Handling, Glass and Brittle Plastics, GMP, Production-Area Sanitation and Cleaning.Training Required: GMP, Forklift Operator Certification1. Complete daily blending as scheduled2. Generate, maintain, and implement cleaning and sanitation schedules for production area(s)3. Prepare retain samples of finished products for QC4. Assist in preparing finished orders for shipping as necessary5. Assist in receiving incoming materials as necessary6. Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse and production areas7. Assist in line operations as needed
