Under the direction of the Executive Director of Special Education or Senior Director of Special Education, the BCBA performs program support within all District schools and programs, as assigned.
The Behavior Analyst is responsible for supporting the educational environment by creating and implementing behavior analysis and behavior management plans for scholars with disabilities and general education scholars.
This includes conducting assessments, creating behavior plans, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), training school staff and paraprofessionals in effective behavioral intervention techniques, and providing direction and support to staff and IEP team members to ensure student success.
