Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) School-Based

Birch Agency is seeking a compassionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students in a school-based setting in Levittown, PA The BCBA will provide behavior-analytic services that promote student success, independence, safety, and participation in the educational environment.

The BCBA will assess student behavior, develop and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans, and collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related-service providers. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to positive, ethical, and student-centered behavioral support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze behavioral data.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized behavior intervention plans.

• Provide direct and consultative behavior-analytic services in classroom and school settings.

• Collect, interpret, and document behavioral data to measure student progress.

• Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, caregivers, and school staff.

• Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals and student needs.

• Recommend evidence-based strategies to increase communication, learning, independence, and appropriate behavior.

• Provide crisis-prevention and behavior-management guidance when appropriate.

• Monitor treatment fidelity and ensure behavior plans are implemented consistently.

• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and recommended interventions.

• Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.

• Follow ethical standards, school policies, applicable regulations, and student-safety requirements.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

• Current PA State licensure or certification

• Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school, clinical, or community-based setting preferred.

• Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and student-centered practices.

• All required background clearances, health screenings, and employment documentation must be completed and maintained.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a school setting and may involve supporting students across classrooms, hallways, common areas, and other educational environments. The BCBA must be able to observe student behavior, participate in classroom activities, and respond appropriately to behavioral or safety concerns.
