    Description

    Central Health Management, Inc. is seeking an experienced board-certified physician (internal/family medicine) for a full-time Monday - Friday with a flexible schedule opportunity in post-acute care in the Richmond/Lynchburg, Virginia area.

    In this role, you will be responsible for new patient admissions (complete physical, confirming diagnosis, implementation of treatment plan), certifying and recertifying patient stays, rounding on current patients and updating treatment plan as needed, communicating with medical staff and APPs on-site to ensure consistent quality care for each patient, updating patient charts and prescribing medications as needed.

    This is a 1099 contractor role compensated on RVU with an expected income of $300,000 to $500,000+ annually. Medical Professional Liability coverage is provided. No call or weekend/after hours requirements.

    To qualify for this role, you will need to have the following:

    • MD/DO from an accredited medical university
    • Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine in good standing
    • Active and unencumbered License to practice Medicine in Virginia.
    • Active and unencumbered DEA license
    • 3 or more years of experience of bedside patient care preferably in post-acute care with experience treating co-morbidities
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), diagnostic aptitude, excellent bedside manner, and collaborative/leadership skills
