Body Shop Manager

Ray Laethem Buick GMC is looking for an experienced, motivated, and results driven Body Shop Manager to lead our collision repair department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proven track record of managing body shop operations efficiently and profitably. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the day-today operations of the body shop and ensure efficient workflow
• Manage, lead, and motivate technicians, painters, estimators, and support staff
• Monitor production schedules, repair quality, cycle time, and overall shop performance
• Manage estimates, repair orders, parts coordination, and insurance company relationships
• Maintain excellent communication with customers, insurance adjusters, service advisors, and dealership management
• Develop and maintain a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience managing a collision repair or automotive body shop preferred
• Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating, and insurance claims
• Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage workflow, meet deadlines, and achieve financial production goals
• Familiarity with estimating and shop management software
