Revology Cars is hiring a BOM Controller to establish, maintain, and control accurate Bills of Material (BOMs) for our vehicle programs throughout the product development and production lifecycle. The BOM Controller works with Product Development, Engineering, Purchasing, Material Planning, Scheduling, Production, and Program Management to ensure product configurations, part information, and engineering changes are accurately reflected in the BOM and effectively implemented into production. PAY AND BENEFITSThe BOM Controller at Revology Cars will earn between $52,400 and $73,800 per year, depending on skills and experienceMedical, dental, and vision coverage120 hours of paid time off (PTO) annually10 paid holidays annually401(k) retirement plan with up to 4% company match WHAT YOU'LL DOCreate, maintain, and control prototype and production vehicle BOMs throughout the product development lifecycleEnsure BOM structures, part numbers, descriptions, quantities, revisions, effectivity dates, and other required part information are complete and accurateCoordinate with Design and Release Engineers and other Product Development personnel to ensure released product information is accurately incorporated into the BOMSupport Program Management by tracking BOM maturity and product-definition readiness through program development milestonesManage BOM changes resulting from engineering releases, design changes, supplier changes, manufacturing requirements, and approved deviationsEnsure Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and equivalent change-control documentation are accurately reflected in the BOMMaintain configuration control across vehicle models, options, variants, and program revisionsWork with Purchasing to reconcile part-number, sourcing, and revision discrepanciesWork with Scheduling and Material Planning to resolve BOM-related issues affecting vehicle assembly and ensure production is building the correct product configurationIdentify and resolve BOM discrepancies, including duplicate or obsolete parts, incorrect quantities, missing components, incorrect station assignments, and revision conflictsPerform regular BOM audits at production stations and reconciliations to ensure alignment among engineering releases, purchasing information, ERP and inventory records, and production requirementsMaintain accurate records and traceability of product configurations and BOM changesDevelop and maintain standardized BOM-management processes and methodologies to promote accuracy and repeatabilityGenerate BOM status, maturity, change, and exception reports for Program Management and other stakeholdersProactively identify and communicate BOM risks that could affect program timing, purchasing, inventory, cost, or productionSupport vehicle program milestones by ensuring required BOM information is complete and appropriately controlled before release into subsequent phases REQUIREMENTSAssociate or bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent relevant professional experience will be consideredThree to five years of experience in BOM management, configuration management, product data management, engineering change control, manufacturing planning, or a related automotive or manufacturing function is preferredExperience working with multi-level BOMs containing thousands of componentsFamiliarity with ERP, MRP, PLM, or similar product-data-management systemsStrong understanding of part numbering, revision control, engineering change management, and product configuration principlesDemonstrated ability to maintain highly accurate product data and identify discrepancies across large data setsStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to coordinate effectively across Product Development, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Program ManagementDemonstrated knowledge of processes and methodologies that support repeatability and effective configuration controlStrong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCEExperience with Infor SyteLine ERP or a comparable ERP/MRP system is preferredExperience with Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE or a comparable Product Lifecycle Management system is preferredExperience in an automotive or related manufacturing environment is preferredExperience in a low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environment is a plus ABOUT REVOLOGY CARSWe build reproduction Mustangs as properly engineered vehicles with all of the classic style and character of the original, but with the functionality of modern technologyWe are growing rapidly and provide excellent advancement opportunities for qualified team members
