JOB SUMMARY<\/b>: Coordinates workflow within the various departments to expedite production. Process and input all new orders as they are received from BOM Department.

FUNCTIONS TO BE PERFORMED:<\/b>
<\/div>
  • Create accurate Bill of Materials, making corrections when required<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assign Part Numbers as required • Process work orders as they are generated<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Set up new work orders for manufactured assemblies (make sure there is standard routing & material structured) & input orders for labor capture<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Set up new work orders for subparts of manufactured assemblies & input orders for labor capture • Print the boiler pick list from shop floor & distribute work orders to shop by department<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Perform miscellaneous other departmental duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • After work orders are completed in the shop & returned to Production Control <\/span>
    <\/li>
    • Verify the quantity made and material used <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • If correct as initially issued post material & receive parts into inventory <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Make other changes as required (i.e., quantity and/or material substitutions) and close the order
      <\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/ul>

      Requirements<\/h3>
      QUALIFICATIONS:<\/b>
      <\/div>
      • Previous job experience structuring or working with BOMs in a manufacturing environment<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Proficient with PC applications<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong understanding of physical inventory, accounting, and ERP systems<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • High School Diploma (or GED) <\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
        PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:<\/b><\/span>
        <\/div>
        • Must be able to prioritize work and have strong organizational skills <\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Excellent verbal & written communication skills<\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Must be capable of following verbal and/or written instructions and be able to speak and hear clearly <\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Must be thorough, accurate, and detail -minded • Must be able to handle large volumes of paperwork and sitting for long periods <\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs <\/span><\/span>
          <\/li>
        • Must be able to work independently with little supervision
