Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co., LLP (GROCO), is a full-service Certified Public Accounting firm with offices in Fremont, near BART, and Palo Alto. We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Staff Tax Accountant with 2 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or tax preparation experience to join our team.

Position Summary:

A Bookkeeper / Staff Tax Accountant-Level I should have solid accounting knowledge. They should be able to conduct research, develop work papers, organize documentation for research projects, perform engagement tasks, and control budgets.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping

Proficient in QuickBooks

Working successfully in a team environment

Qualifications

2-3 years quality bookkeeping experience

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Detail oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Above-average proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word preferred
