Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Louisville, KY
Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours/week) or Full-Time for the right candidate
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/AP-AR Specialist to support our growing manufacturing operation in Louisville, KY. We are flexible on the structure of this position and are open to both part-time and full-time candidates.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, and general bookkeeping functions. This individual should be able to step into the role with minimal training and quickly help organize and manage the day-to-day accounting workload.
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Create and distribute customer invoices
- Process and track vendor invoices
- Apply customer payments accurately
- Conduct collections and customer follow-up
- Perform account reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing and support
- Prepare and process check runs
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Provide general bookkeeping and accounting support
- Assist leadership with day-to-day financial and accounting activities
Qualifications
- Previous bookkeeping, AP/AR, or accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Previous Global Shop experience is not required. Candidates with experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software are encouraged to apply.
