WHAT YOU’LL DO AS THE BOOKKEEPER

• 
  

• The Bookkeeper will maintain accurate financial records using accounting software and other financial tools

  
  
• 
  

• Record and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries

  
  
• 
  

• The Bookkeeper will perform bank and financial statement reconciliations and research discrepancies

  
  
• 
  

• Assist with preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

  
  
• 
  

• Support month-end and year-end close processes by organizing financial data and preparing supporting documentation

  
  
• 
  

• The Bookkeeper will assist with other bookkeeping and accounting tasks as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A BOOKKEEPER

• 
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required

  
  
• 
  

• Previous bookkeeping or basic accounting experience

  
  
• 
  

• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

  
  
• 
  

• Experience performing bank reconciliations

  
  
• 
  

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

  
  
• 
  

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
